Overview
The National Art Center, Tokyo is an art exhibition facility designed for both special exhibitions organized by curators and exhibitions presented by artist associations. Instead of holding a permanent collection, it functions as an art center that provides the public with a place where they can experience a variety of forms of artistic expression and appreciate diverse values. In addition to hosting a broad spectrum of exhibitions in one of Japan's largest art exhibition spaces (14,000 m²), the NACT also collects and makes publicly accessible a diverse range of art information resources and runs various educational programs and workshops.
