Overview
Designed by Kunio Maekawa, Junzo Sakakura, and Junzo Yoshimura, three giants of Japanese architecture, the one-of-a-kind International House of Japan is one of Japan’s Tangible Cultural Properties.
All the onsite venues look out on an expansive Japanese garden that has been handed down from landowner to landowner through the generations. As the seasons change, the garden grounds treat guests with breathtaking, dynamic views.
The venue space, which achieves a harmonious fusion of the gardens and the building structure, is perfect for international conferences, lectures, concerts, exhibits, meetings, dinners, receptions, and more.
